I can’t wait for ‘Conspiracy Theory’, Jesse Ventura’s new show on Tru TV (formerly Court TV) to air. I hope that the show, scheduled to premiere on December 2, 2009, will be as addictive as my other guilty pleasures on that network – ‘Forensics Files’ and ‘Masterminds.’ Ventura is the ex-Navy Seal, ex-governor of Minnesota (1999-2003), and ex-MSNBC talk show host who has advanced some very controversial conspiracy theories himself. That’s right for an initial investment of only $7.00 I could be living in the lap of luxury and hobnobbing with the jet-set. I might even one day live a lifestyle whereby I will be able to buy a home that could be featured on MTV’s ‘Cribs’. (I always wanted a solid gold crapper.) The news came in the form of a letter I received in the mail. The return address was a p.o... Continue reading ...

Recently, my mom was bilked out of what was to her a large sum of money - $365.00. True this is not as much as some people lost in Bernie Maddoff’s ponzi-scheme, but it was a lot to her and she was entitled to it. You see my mom, who is elderly and lives on a fixed income, moved from her apartment recently because her landlord constantly raised her rent. The apartment mom moved into was a smaller, cheaper apartment that takes only a fixed percentage of her income. Mom’s former landlor... Continue reading ...
